Apex 800 Hair Removal Laser

Introduction

Unwanted hair in unwanted places can be bothersome and embarrassing for both men and women.  The Apex 800 Hair Removal Laser is a revolutionary hair removal system that is fast, safe, and produces immediate results.  Unlike other hair removal lasers, the Apex 800 can be used on people with dark or tanned skin tones.

The Apex 800 uses an intense beam of light to target hair follicles, the part of hair responsible for growth.  The laser injures the hair follicle, but not the surrounding skin. The laser treats more than one hair at a time, making it the perfect solution for large treatment areas, such as the back, arms, legs, face, or chest.

For your comfort, the Apex 800 has a cooling tip that makes the treatment gentle for the most delicate skin areas.  Sensitive areas, such as the upper lip, bikini line, nipple, and genitals can be treated effectively with only minimal discomfort.  In most cases, an anesthetic is not necessary.

Treatment

Apex 800 laser treatments are performed as a relatively short office procedure.  You will be seated in a reclining chair for the procedure and wear a pair of goggles to protect your eyes from the bright light.  Your doctor will use a thin wand-like device to deliver the treatment to your skin.  You may feel a mild brief sting with each laser pulse.

The treatment time depends on the size of the area being treated.  Treatment times may vary from about 15 minutes to over an hour.  Treatments may have to be repeated because of hair growth cycles.  Most people achieve desirable results in three to six sessions.
