Dr. Kevin J. Kessler is the medical director of Kessler Sports Medicine Center. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He provides a full array of orthpaedic services with specialties in Shoulder, Knee and Elbow. Dr. Kessler's Medical training includes Fellowship in Sports Medicine at The University of Miami. He has provided orthopaedic medical coverage for many of the professional sports in South Florida including team physicians for the Miami Frenzi-Arena Football, Florida Atlantic University, New York Yankees Baseball Team (Spring Training), the Baltimore Orioles, the Miami Dolphins Football Team, and the Florida Marlins as a consulting physician.
He has cared for many of the athletes such as Gary Sheffield (Florida Marlins/Yankees), Roberto Alomar (Baltimore Orioles), Michael Moorer (two-time heavyweight boxing champion), Chris Singleton (Miami Dolphin), Bobby Bonnia (Florida Marlins), and Shannon Briggs (professional boxer).
