At the Kessler Sports Medicine Center, we specialize in treating athletes of all ages with orthopaedic injuries that affect their ability to function in the work place or on the playing field.
The Kessler Sports Medicine Center is comprised of sports medicine professionals including board-certified orthopaedic surgeons who are fellowship-trained in sports medicine, and certified and licensed athletic trainers who work with athletes right on the playing field. We work with athletes of all ages from baseball professionals (Baltimore Orioles), to high school student athletes in over 16 public and private high schools in Broward County.
My particular expertise is in ACL knee reconstruction and rotator cuff repairs of the shoulder. I am also one of the few physicians in the area offering a new advanced surgical procedure in sports-related shoulder injuries. The procedure involves attaching an absorbable stabilizing plate to the rotator cuff which allows for faster healing and rehabilitation. The doctors are associated with Boca Community Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, North Ridge Hospital and Imperial Point Medical Center and Ambulatory Surgical Center of Boca Raton.
